Then the TB3 will work. try test out with the connection linked and it should work!<br /><br />DP cable - from Motherboard/to Graphics card.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=17464">steinoy</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16359<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 30 Sep 2020 at 9:58pm<br /><br />These steps made it work for my setup:<br /><br />https://www.reddit.com/r/ASRock/comments/eqkytt/x570_creator_thunderbolt_not_recognizing_devices/fevgi9l/<br /><br />- Update BIOS (like you've already done)<br />- Disable the security thingy from BIOS: Advanced --&gt; AMD PBS --&gt; Security ---- "No Security"(or similar)<br />- Update with latest driver from Lenovo.<br /><br />I used the driver from Lenovo as mentioned in the reddit thread (https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds504013), since the drivers on the x570 download page were outdated.<br /><br />There's been added a DCH-version of the driver on the x570 page since i set it up, dunno if that's the latest version though: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X570%20Creator/index.asp#Download (Intel Thunderbolt DCH driver ver:1.41.987.0&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />).]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=17227">Foxfender</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16359<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23 Sep 2020 at 6:51pm<br /><br />Hi!<br /><br />So I build this system: <br /><br />Be Quiet Silent Base Orange Pro Rev 2<br />Be Quiet Straight 11 850W Platinum<br />X570 Creator <br />3950X<br />Corsair i115 Water-cooling<br />128 GB RAM (3x32 Corsair)<br />Powercolor RX 5700 XT Red Devil<br />Corsair m2 Nvme 500GB (Windows 10 Pro 64)<br /><br />Everything works except for THUNDERBOLT which is why I paid for this pricey motherboard!<br /><br />I try to connect a Pegasus R6 Array through a Startech Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt Adapter.<br /><br />Both the Pegasus R6 and the Startech work with no issues on other machines but won't be detected by this system. <br /><br />The Thunderbolt Software simply won't detect any Thunderbolt device attached (See screen captures)<br />https://ibb.co/C1Nv9Nv<br />https://ibb.co/6wrrGQy<br />https://ibb.co/B20gnP2<br />https://ibb.co/vwy68j5<br /><br />I updated the motherboard's BIOS to the latest version<br />Downloaded and installed the latest Thunderbolt drivers from ASROCK website<br />The Pegasus Driver is up to date<br />Every single driver is up to date<br />The X570 Creator's Thunderbolt port WILL detect any USB-C disk drive attached but no Thunderbolt device.<br /><br />I tried to boot with the Pegasus device attached with no success, I tried to boot without the Pegasus device attached and connect it afterwards, no success either. <br /><br />I bought a PCI-E card to put the m2 nvme drive on it to boot off it and free the motherboard's m2 port, it doesn't change anything.<br /><br />The PCI 6 port is free.<br /><br />Please help me find a solution!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />]]>
