Yes, this motherboard can boot from legacy mode OS with default.
Just make sure that Boot\CSM\Enabled under the BIOS.

I need to be able to boot from a drive that has a MBR partition instead of GPT. This requires BIOS to be able to support Legacy boot (not just disabling secure boot) The board I was inquiring about is the ASRock B365 Phantom Gaming.
