Author: Onnaj
Subject: 1677
Posted: 07 Jan 2016 at 10:23pm

Hi,

I have a AM1H-ITX mobo with the Athlon 5350 APU which is a great combi for my HTPC. However i'd like to change to a DC in instead of the ATX power supply. With the ATX i have too much cables in the LC-1340mi case. Because of that i've bought a Toshiba PA-1900-03 laptop charger which is used for example the M45 Toshiba laptop (90W) which is namend in the support list on the ASROCK website. This supply is a 90W, 19V & 4.74A supply with a 5.5 by 2.5 tip. Unfortunately when i connect this power supply the board does nothing. It won't turn on or even light up the power led.

When reinstalling the ATX supply again, everything works normally.

Am i missing something here? Is the adapter not suitable even though it's stated on the website?

Thanks!
