Install only one RAM to different slots.
2. Try the same with another RAM.
3. Replug the CPU and power supply to the system.
4. Remove the CMOS button and power cable for about 10 minutes.

With thanks,
ASRock TSD

Edited by ASRock_TSD - 13 Oct 2020 at 3:45pm

    Author: Jammor
Subject: 16930
Posted: 12 Oct 2020 at 1:41pm

replaced a bad MSI motherboard with an ASRock B250M fatality. I have patriot 8gbx2 and i5-7400 w new 700w PSU.

I first turned it on w the RX590 gpu plugged and powered up (6 pin and 8 pin). All lights and fans working on psu and cpu but no vid output. So I took out the gpu, reset the CMOS and decided to install windows 10 with only onboard video for now and then add the gpu later.

Still no video out. I've tried the VGA and HDMI ports but not DVI. Yet. Tried with an older monitor and brand new monitor.

Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

thx in advance
