It could be the wireless receiver causing
DPC issues, its unlikely but worth a shot if you can find/borrow a cheap wired
mouse. If you have not already, try a different USB port for the mouse, maybe one
of the USB 2.0 ones.

You can also try removing the GPU and booting into the OS with the integrated
graphics and test your DPC without it installed. If it's still high then it is
either not the GPU or the (nvidia) drivers are not cooperating.

I have tried a different wireleess mouse, with the same results. Unfortunately I don't have wired mouse to try. I've tried unplugging the keyboard and testing - no change.

Inside the case the PC is quite simple:
Mobo: ASRock Z87M Extreme4
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K. No overclocking.
RAM: 8GB of DDR3. No overclocking.
PSU: EVGA 650W
GPU: GeForce RTX 2060 (I did try physically removing this card and re-installing Windows again using on-board VGA, with no change) No overclocking.

All temps are on the cool side - case is roomy and ventilated.

Mobo, CPU, GPU temps are low and I neither CPU, SSD or GPU are fully utilised.

Updated the BIOS to the latest version - no change.

Can anyone suggest anything else I could check? Are there any BIOS settings that could possibly cause this?

Thanks for any help.

PS. Mobo & CPU temperatures in 30s (celsius), so unlikely heat related.
