Regarding your question, the first M.2 slot mainly supports PCIe M.2, to use the SATA M.2, kindly install to the M.2_2 slot.

Hi, so booted new set up but m.2 ssd drive isn't listed in BIOS and not listed as drive in Windows install.
Asrock B460M Pro4 motherboard
Innovation SSD M.2 480 GB
BIOS is P1.2

SSD is in the slot with the armour cover.
