Hooked it to the motherboard chassis 1 and selected silence mode for the ventilator.<br /><br />This was assembled on my Samsung 970 evo plus that normally reaches without load 68°C to 70°C, with this heatsink went down to 44°C.<br />At the same time, the second SSD reaching the same 70°C before went down 54°C which Samsung magician consider high. Under heavy load (transferring 200GB from 970 to 2nd SSD, temperature remained exactly the same.<br /><br />Might mount the same device on the 2nd SSD, paid ca. 25USD for one.<br /><br />Fred]]>
