Author: Palladini921
Subject: 17184
Posted: 08 Nov 2020 at 6:39am

I just took Possession of New Computer with an AsRock H470 Phantom Gaming 4 Motherboard in it and I am Looking to find what driver I need so Windows 10 Pro will recognize my Optical drives. I was on the Motherboard page and I think I downloaded all the drivers, and all but one installed Properly. This Optical drive I have is hooked into the two USB ports on the top of the computer. At this point whenever I click on Optical drive in the windows explorer, all it does is kick out the disk, and the Disk I have in there is. the disk that came with the Motherboard, with all the required drivers on it.

On another note, I put 2 Optical drives in the case, I have so far hooked up SATA Cables to them, With only 6 SATA ports on this Motherboard, an M2 drive, and it takes one of the SATA Ports and I have 5 hard Drives in this case. But I do have a SATA Divider, This is a little card, you can plug one SATA cable into one side, and that SATA cable to the Motherboard and on the other side you can plug 6 SATA Cables in to it. I had this device in my last Desktop Computer and it recognizes anything plugged into it
