Author: ChronoEVO
Subject: 17343
Posted: 28 Nov 2020 at 1:59am

Hello fellow ASRock owners. I just updated my B450M Steel Legend BIOS to version 2.60 and my Adata XPG Spectrix SSD just isn't recognized anymore, and now I've just given up.

I've installed a brand new Ryzen 5600X (hence why I did update my BIOS), and it's working with another SSD, or must I say, kind of working. But my Adata XPG Spectrix won't boot, and even with a Windows Boot Pendrive it is not shown as one of the devices to format.

With my other Kingston A1000 SSD, it boots when I power up. But when I restart it freezes on the ASRock logo, and I've noticed a little "A0" on the bottom left corner. A quick search says that "A0" on ASRock MoBos is a SATA/IDE controller error =/

Anyway, I'm using my B450m Steel Legend with Ryzen 5600x , Trident Z RGB RAMs, a G750H power supply from Gigabyte, and now a Kingston A1000 NVMe storage. It works if I power it up, but after every restart it freezes (so I'm avoiding any restart/reboot, and only powering my PC on and off).

Any clues?
