Author: cocofalco
Subject: 17405
Posted: 04 Dec 2020 at 1:43pm

I recently purchased a Z490 Phanton Gaming 4/ax UEFI/Bios Version P1.30A as part of a PowerSpec G358.
I have 2 Questions.
1) Is there an updated manual for the BIOS that includes the BIOS option on the Advanced Menus - Advanced Tab for the NVMe Configuration. It isn't included in this https://download.asrock.com/Manual/Z490%20Phantom%20Gaming%204ax.pdf

2) Is there a way to disable the M.2/NVMe slots in the Bios(Not just removing it from the Boot order) rather than having to remove the card physically from the rig. Something similar to the way you can disable USB ports or other interfaces of the board. The reason for this is, I have a boot disk that I would like use, but it crashes and I suspect its not recognizing the M.2 SSD I have installed.
