As for the second question it is always best to update your BIOS via the instant flash method. It is the safest and most trouble free method by far.]]>

Mentioned in the <a href="http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z170%20Extreme4/?cat=Download&amp;os=BIOS" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">most recent version</a>.<br>2) What is the correct way to update using the Windows version of the download? I have followed <a href="http://www.asrock.com/support/BIOSUI.asp?cat=Windows8" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">the instructions</a> in the past but when I restart the bios doesn't update, it just boots straight into Windows. I have run the updater as administrator.<br>]]>
