Author: JonathanMerry
Subject: 17453
Posted: 09 Dec 2020 at 8:50am

(Specs below)

I recently set up a new PC and when I went to test it out, the monitor keeps saying no "signal to HDMI". I have seen other posts that had similar issues but those didn't seem to work. Several such as BIOS reset I don't know how to do without being able to see what I am doing. The monitor and cable work fine on my laptop. The memory cards were originally in A1 and B1 but I saw that in another post it worked to switch the cards to A2 and B2. It didn't work for me. The monitor is plugged into my graphics card but I also plugged it into the motherboard itself just in case. Neither worked. When I turn the PC on every fan turns on including the graphics card and the lights on the card and on the box work fine and steady. The BIOS sticker says P4.30 but obviously, I haven't seen the interface yet without a monitor. I assume it is running but I can be sure.

Motherboard - ASRock B365 Pro4 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
CPU - Intel Core i5-9400F 2.9 GHz 6-Core Processor
Video Card - MSI GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB GAMING X Video Card
Memory - CORSAIR - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2PK x 8GB) 3.2 GHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Memory Kit
Power Supply - EVGA B5 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
HDD - Seagate BarraCuda 4 TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive
SSD - Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Case - Phanteks Eclipse P300A Mesh ATX Mid Tower Case
