I am sorry, Mr. Board Lord, that my four decades of experience building computers made the initial claim without any supporting documentation or detailed explanation something that comes across as laughable. Details and facts matter. The commenter left out important information. How is that MY fault, since you blame ME for everything?

I can add that CPU-Z sees the RAM. All eight of them.

I should point out that your basis is that the X399 Taichi is an inherently defective design because of the fact that the builder cannot seat the CPU manually, unless there is an undeclared method that goes outside what the manuals all say to do. I followed the manual completely. If ASRock left out something, then whose fault would that be? I may be Autistic, but I am far from retarded.

How is that possible? There is no way the CPU is not aligned properly, otherwise I would NOT be typing this as I am using that very PC. Task Mgr shows all 24 logical processors.

I am running a Threadripper 1920X, 12-core. I have 8 DIMMs, all identical (Corsair Vengeance RBG Pro 2666MHz, 16GB) and listed in the manual that came with the MB.

Here's the problem: It will NOT recognize the DIMMs in C1 and C2. Now, I know the DIMMs cannot be broken, as the PC boots just fine.
