Author: LargeIt
Subject: 17621
Posted: 28 Dec 2020 at 9:11pm

I've successfully built a new machine with the ASR B450 and everything is booting up nicely and I can get into BIOS from startup.

How do I now get to use all the interesting utilities, including the Win 10 installation, that come on the ASR CD-ROM, without having a CD drive on the machine or a USB CD drive?

I have tried simply copying all the files from the CD onto a new USB and plugging that in. The new machine can see that but doesn't want to boot from it and BIOS doesn't give me the opportunity to open the drive and select a set up programme.

Is there a way to get the original ASR files onto a USB such that I can use them?

I also have an external SATA reader so could copy the original CD onto the new hard drive - would that work?

Cheerio
LGT
