Author: wilson1297
Subject: 17677
Posted: 01 Jan 2021 at 4:01am

So I recently took out my old Z170 Pro4 that was working fine about a year ago. Last processor that I used was an i5-6500 and it was working fine. Right now it's running on a Celeron G3920 which is of the same generation (Skylake) but it doesn't boot with no beep codes at all. I tried taking out the rams and it gives me 3 long beeps that keep repeating after a short pause. Tried clearing the CMOS through the jumper and also by removing the CMOS battery but still no difference. The ram I'm using is KVR24N17D8/16 which is in the official support list. Any ideas?
