I have a 5600x in an X570M Pro 4. For CPU speed the BIOS has either "Auto" which goes from the base 3.7Ghz to the boost 4.6Ghz or else one puts in a set speed. I just wish there was a way to parameterize the Auto range, so for example one could put in 3.9Ghz to 4.4Ghz.
Mainly I want it because it spikes to 4.6 all the time and my slim line Noctua has a hard time reacting quickly enough to keep it cool. If I could put in a little less for the max like 4.4 then I'd be happier than setting it at the base clock all the time and missing out on some boost or else running at more than I need and running up the electric bill.
