Everything is back in working order except the audio device, my PC doesn't seem to recognize it. I've never had this problem before. <br /><br />In device manager there's an exclamation mark and status "device doesn't start (code 10). It's listed as "High definition audio driver". If I try to update the drivers from Windows it tells me that the most recent drivers have already been installed. <br /><br />This is my very simple build, it's my home office PC so no sound card: <ul><li>CPU: Intel Core i3-8100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor</li><li>Motherboard: ASRock H310M-HDV Micro ATX LGA1151</li><li>MMemory: Crucial 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-2133 CL15 Memory </li><li>Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 10 CM 400 W 80+ Silver Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply  </li><li>Storage: Crucial MX500 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive</li></ul><br /><br />This is what I've tried so far: <ul><li>Reinstall windows (advice from windows support agent)</li><li>update drivers from windows (says the drivers are already up to date)</li><li>manually install realtek drivers from asrock website</li><li>install realtek chip drivers from Asrock website</li></ul><br /><br />I have a different motherboard but the problem seems to be very similar to this (unresolved) topic: &#091;URL=http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=7346&KW=audio+device+realtek&PID=43359&title=realtek-sound-not-working-all-of-a-sudden#43359&#093;realtek sound not working&#091;/URL&#093;<br /><br />It drives me crazy, any ideas? ]]>
