Bios updated to the latest version. My motherboard has 2 m2 slots. One for nvme and the other for ssd sata (it shares lines with the SATA3 connector on the board). M2 is installed in the desired slot, although I tried it in another. SSD for some reason is cold when it is in the PC. As usual BIOS version for your board?
And keep an eye if there are more then one M2 slot that one of the two can be linked so shared with 8x or 16x slot, do read the manual concerning slot sharing.

The bios can have trouble to detect the M2 slot except the shared one.
So move the m2 SSD to the shared and reboot and see that the M2 volume is listed. Another trick is do not use another boot medium.

I have the same problem. I bought a new SSD Kingston a2000 nvme. BIOS and windows do not see the disk in any way. I have the same motherboard. Did I want to ask you solved this problem? Hello! My motherboard is Asrock B450M Pro4. My SSD is 970 EVO NVMe M.2 SSD from Samsung 500 GB. My pc doesn?™t recognize this drive. I can?™t download drivers for it, I can?™t format a partition or whatever it is called and I can?™t even use it to download Windows 10 on it because my pc doesn?™t see the drive for whatever reason. Does anyone know why this could be?
Is there a way to see if my BIOS atleast sees my drive? I read somewhere that NVMe drives are not located in Storage Configuration in the BIOS but instead in the ?œsystem browser tool??whatever that is. Where can I find the system browser tool in the BIOS to see if my M.2 is seen?

I have CSM disabled. My M.2 drive is not faulty. My BIOS is on the latest version. I don?™t have a cable in the SATA3_3 slot so it doesn?™t override the M.2 slot. And the M.2 drive has never been used before.
My motherboard supports NVMe in one of the 2 slots. Idk which one but I have the drive in the M2_1 slot because that one is labeled ?œUltra M.2??so I tried my luck. Should my drive be in the other slot?
