As Gronar mentioned, motherboard HDMI cable will not work without an APU.

OK do you have a GPU installed? That CPU does not have any integrated graphics so the onboard HDMI will not work. Hi,
I am installing the x570 Phantom Gaming 4S MB. No OS is installed yet. I am using an HDMI connection from the OnBoard HDMI. This port is not being recognized and is not displaying the boot menu. Is there something I need to do to activate the HDMI connection?
