hello there, I own asrock EPC612D8A motherboard. The decription on asrock page states that 

PCIe 3.0 x 8 - 1 slot (PCIE4: x8 or x4 with mini PCIe x4 )
-(support M.2 (Full and Half size)) (x4) 

What does x4 mean, because the manual states its gen 2 x2 
 "M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen 2 x2 (10 Gb/s)".

does it mean that 4 lanes are linked to slot but only 2 are usable ?
