This is particularly true<br />with Ryzen, the only time you should update is if you are upgrading to un unsupported<br />CPU (on your current BIOS) or if you are experiencing a serious issue that is making<br />your system unreliable/unuseable. More often than not, if you are not using the<br />latest CPU generation, updates will break things rather than fix them.]]>

These days BIOS updates cause more troubles than they fix things ;)<br />Especially when 3.60 version for your motherboard has the following warning:<br />*ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if Pinnacle, Raven or Summit Ridge CPU is being used on your system.<br /><br />Your 2700X is Pinnacle Ridge]]>
