What BIOS version did your board ship with? It will be printed on a small white
sticker on the BIOS ROM chip. The 9600k requires BIOS version P1.10, if the shipped
version is older that may be causing the issue.
Also, are you sure your CPU is a 9600K not a 9600KF? The reason I ask is because
the KF variant does not have an integrated GPU and can only be used with a discrete
GPU. I have seen a few instances where the KF has been sold as a K in tray form
(lacking retail packaging).

As for troubleshooting, the next step would be to try with the system asembled
outside of the case with a single stick of RAM in the A2 slot and no other devices
connected. Then, if you still have the same result, try with a discrete GPU (if
you have one to test with).

Make sure the CPU is properly installed and oriented and that you have no bent
or damaged pins in the socket. Also make sure your 8pin CPU power cable is connected
and is the correct cable from the PSU (4+4 not 6+2).

Hello,

I purchased ASRock H310CM-ITX/ac Mini ITX for my mini itx build.

Specs:
ASRock H310CM-ITX/ac Mini ITX
I5-9600k
ADATA Spectrix D41 2400 MHZ DDR4 16GB
Corsair H60 Liquid Cooler
WD 500 GB SSD
Cooler Master NR200
Corsair 550 W PSU
NO GPU installed

The problem is after it was built, there is no post to the monitor. It says no signal with both HDMI and DP. I reset the CMOS, Tried Jumper pins, tried every ram stick solo in each slot and rebooted, and even unplugged/plugged in every cable. Not sure what else I can do. The computer turns on, fans spin and ram lights up but no post. Cant get to bios or anything. Any next step ideas to troubleshoot this? or is it a defective mobo?
