I tried booting with install media as well but not luck.

Is this even possible with this mobo? If not are there any m-atx alternatives where UEFI plays nicer with HBAs?

The card itself is showing up fine in Ubuntu

```
Serial Attached SCSI controller: Broadcom / LSI SAS2308 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-2 (rev 05)
LnkCap:     Port #0, Speed 8GT/s, Width x8, ASPM L0s, Exit Latency L0s <64ns
               ClockPM- Surprise- LLActRep- BwNot- ASPMOptComp+
LnkSta:     Speed 8GT/s (ok), Width x8 (ok)
               TrErr- Train- SlotClk+ DLActive- BWMgmt- ABWMgmt-
```
