Nope... A lot of windows driver issue with newer gen, use windows 10 and virtualization if windows 7 is needed. As far as I am aware In 2019 Windows 10 received an update which now accepts Windows 7 digital license when entering it in Windows 10.

Hi All,
I know it's officially not supported but what is the deadlock with Ryzen 3000 Matisse CPU? Is it just the USB ports or is there anything in BIOS that will prevent installing Windows 7 on Matisse in the first place like BSOD?

Will Windows 7 install (without USB support) on ASRock B450M series if I use DVD drive and PS/2 mouse to proceed with install.
I need Windows 7 to just get it activated so that I can go ahead and upgrade to Windows 10 to claim a digital license.

Ryzen 3000 is Matisse code named and as far as Gen 1 & Gen 2 are concerned, Windows 7 did work well on B450M chipset but there's no enough tech info about Ryzen 3000 series.
Any inputs would be great.
