Well just get an HDMI cable(my choice) adapters are available. Is the cable you have known to be good? Hello, I built a new PC a few weeks ago with a B460 pro4 motherboard. If a display port cable is plugged in the PC doesn't boot. The UEFI is not accessible, 5 beeps can be heard and the fans turn.
This drove me crazy for a week because the PC would work fine when i took it to professionnals (because they used HDMI cable) but not at my home. Other than that there is just one time where my PC made 5 beeps but started anyway without problems.
It's not the end of the world if i can only use my PC with HDMI so my question is : Does it mean that my motherboard is faulty or is this a known problem? Could there be a fix?

Here are the components of my PC

new parts :
B460 pro4
intel 10700F
2*16Go ddr4 patriot viper 3200Mhz
ssd nvme WD sn550 1To

old parts :
GTX 950
2 old samsung HDD
creative X-FI soundblaster titanium
