    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=74">parsec</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1827<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 26 Jan 2016 at 1:49pm<br /><br />Seriously, none of the other boards you've used reset the options after a firmware update?<br><br>It's been a while since I've used a board besides an ASRock, but setting options back to their default settings when new firmware is applied is not unusual.<br><br>If you've ever saved a profile (User Default) in the UEFI, you know that they are also removed after a firmware update.<br><br>At the bottom of your board's <b>OC Tweaker</b> screen are two options: <br><br><i><b>Save User UEFI Setup Profile to Disk</b></i><br><br><i><b>Load User UEFI Setup Profile from Disk</b></i><br><br>These are the options you are looking for. If new options are added by a firmware update, these profiles will not work with them.<br><br>Your board's A-Tuning software also has an option to save settings in its OC Tweaker screen, but that is only a subset of the UEFI options.<br>]]>

Configuring everything to my liking<br>can take up to 20 minutes.<br><br>Is there any way around it, so the settings stay after the firmware update?<br><br>This is my first Asrock mainboard. In the past I has mainboards from<br>MSI, Intel, Gigabyte and Asus. Not once did the other mainboards<br>reset the settings after a BIOS/UEFI update.<br>]]>
