Power On Self Tests, the codes each correspond to a
test in that process. Once all tests have passed the system will begin to boot.
So when a test fails and the system halts, the code displayed gives you an idea
of what test failed, you can look up the code and see what it pertains to. In
other words, the only codes you need to worry about are ones that do not change
and remain, typically with the system unresponsive.

As for the slow POST process, disconnect everything from the system except for
Keyboard, display and mouse. Quite often a flash drive or conflicting USB device
can cause slow POST times.

If you are getting a code, it will be the last one that remains on the display,
that is the only one we need to look into.

A few days ago my son reported me a problem. after turning on the computer before Bios POST, errors 98 A2 B4 appear. POST is displayed on the screen for a long time. When I want to enter UEFI, loading takes a very long time, sometimes over a minute. Changing the GPU, mounting in a different slot, changing the mouse and keyboard, moving to other RAM slots, reinstalling the system, updating UEFI, cleaning CMOS does not change anything. DO You have any idea whats is wrong£
My kit is:
Asrock z490 Steel Legend
i3 10100F
Lexar NM610 M.2 PCi-E x4 Gen3 500GB
Modecom MC-B88-600SM 600W
ADATA 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz CL16 XPG Spectrix D41 RGB
