For reference I run my 6900xt at x8, and see no performance issues.
In order to get x16n working, there is BIOS setting which let's you select PCI-e link speed.

Since Asrock did not bother adding English Manual in their support page, I cannot tell you exactly where that setting is

I had a 2200G APU and a 1660 Ti GPU. The GPU would run at x8 PCIe link speed, as advertised, because of the Raven Ridge APU.

The other day I upgraded the 2200G to a 2700, and the PCIe link speed is still at x8. I have cleared CMOS, reinstalled my NVIDIA driver, and ran DDU for the old AMD drivers. Still runs at x8.

What am I missing here£ I don't have any other PCIe slots filled, nor any M.2 drives (I'm using 2 sata drives, though).

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
