Hello,

I have ASRock FM2A88X Extreme6+ motherboard. Every time I turn on my computer after shutting down I am met with error code 4F on the motherboard. The computer will power on, all fans and lights working on the tower, however my screen is black and I am unable to do anything. I have to wait about a minute before it will get to the ASRock splash screen and load the operating system. Tonight it took about 3-5 minutes before it loaded the splash screen and OS. It has only done this for about a week or two now. It was fine before this so I'm not sure what happened. Aside from Windows updates I have not done any other changes to my computer.

I searched error code 4F and I was only able to find that it could be a motherboard issue, but that was for ASRock Z87 EXTREME4. Not sure if this is the same issue or if I should try what was mentioned. Clear CMOS£ Switch BIOS A with BIOS B (If I have that option with this motherboard)£ Do I need to update the BIOS£

I would appreciate any help with this. I will gladly supply any other info if needed.
