Did you look for compatible drivers on AMD's website, for the AMD 890GX and SB850 chipsets?

Doesn't Windows 8.1 automatically install the drivers for you or is there another problem here? Also, have you tried installing the Win7 ones and given those a try? Here's a link to them:
