Hello forum,

I purchased an ASROCK Z170 Pro4S board used, and I think I'm having problems with the RAM, but I cannot be sure. It will not boot fully - there is no display. I bought and installed a motherboard speaker/buzzer to diagnose and the following is what it found.

There are 4 short beeps upon power-on in scenario 1, where a DIMM is present.
There is continuous beeping upon power-on in scenario 2, with no DIMM present.


What could this mean?
