What sort of clock speeds are you seeing and in which conditions? Just a quick check and some googling on the motherboard reveals a VRM section that is looking really weak. Apparently it only has 3 phases for the CPU and no heatsink, so I wouldn't expect it to be able to handle any FX CPU without issues. The motherboard would thus be my first guess, but more details on what you're seeing and how you're monitoring your computer would be good to have.
Long story short, I upgraded today from an athlon 64 and 2GB of RAM to an FX 8320E and 8GB of ram. However, there is a HUGE problem. The CPU is downclocked. REALLY downclocked. It is not because of the temperature. Is the motherboard causing this?
