They are not the best PSUs out there but they are definately
decent, especially for the price.

That said, if it's that old you may want to look into replacing it sometime soon.
I don't think it is the issue in this case however. The RAM seems to not like
your CPU/board combo. You can either load XMP then manually lower the frequency
to 3000/2933 or return it and get a different kit. If it runs stable at 2400 I
suspect it should be able to handle 3000.

You can also try going the other way with the voltage, try lowering it to 1.3 or
even 1.2v with XMP loaded.

After saving BIOS settings immedeately encountered same problem. Reset and it works.

I forgot to mention, that i upgraded everything in my PC, except for GPU and PSU.
GPU is Sapphire rx580 nitro+ SE. PSU is not-known chinese brand "Chieftain" or "Chieftech", which is working flawlessly im my rig for 10 years now...
Could it be a source of my problem?
I know its old and using it is risky, but it works fine in games at ultra and full load on CPU\GPU.

Only the very latest DDR4 models
support this. The RAM should be labeled "PC4-25600". This guarantees the RAM
should run at this speed as "stock".

RAM manufacturers basically determine an optimal overclock for their modules then
program the values into the RAM's firmware, this is what they call XMP. It tends
to work on most systems but unfortunately, not all. The don't even guarantee it
will work. If you look at the documentation it is only "verified" on particular
system configurations. This is why the QVL is important with RAM.

Many people think XMP is "stock", it isn't. That said, most newer DDR4 kits should
be able to run at their XMP profiles on current systems. Try what ThreeDee
suggested and increase the RAM voltage by a small amount, I would not go over
1.4v. If your RAM needs more than 1.4v to run at just 3200 then return it, it
isn't binned well and likely won't last very long before it starts to degrade.

Edited by Xaltar - 17 May 2021 at 7:36pm

(2nd and 4th slots from CPU socket)

and you said you are running the latest 5.00 BIOS?

If RAM is installed in proper slots and you are still getting RAM training issues .. you can try bumping up the voltage on your Crucial RAM from the stock 1.35v to something like 1.36v (you can go up to 1.45v without issue) and see if that stabilizes things.

some have stated that Crucial RAM sometimes needs a bit more than stock voltages to run stable at their XMP profile speeds

Nothing works.
These beeps are bothering me for 1 month now, and i cant find a root of this porblem.

I have to mention, that there was no "beeper"\speaker in box with my mobo, so i used older one. (I dunno if that matters)

Would appreciate any help and suggestions. Thanks in advance.
- Eugene
