Author: pc2005
Subject: 18967
Posted: 27 May 2021 at 6:37pm

Hello, I've recently got a new B450M Pro4-F board with Ryzen 3600. I'm planning to upgrade to more powerful ryzen in the future and eventually to install coreboot when it gets Ryzen support.

Because of this I will probably need to reflash BIOS often. I've found there is SPI flash chip related header "J1" on the board (9 pin, next to the chip). Can I get pinout of this header? I was able to measure 8 pins which go straight to the chip, but there is 1 more, which seems to be connected to ground via 17 ohm resistance. Is this pin necessary for the operation?

J1 header location
