BIOS ROM chip is under the top PCIe slot under the clip portion .. you'll have to remove the covers to see it ..

Your motherboard has Flashback feature too so you can flash via that method if you have an unsupported BIOS version for 5000 series CPU. Consult your manual for instructions how to use the Flashback function if needed.

sorry for the noob question but I am about to do a build based around a B550 Taichi MB using a risen 9 5900 CPU. I want to know if I need to flash the bios first but I cannot find the "sticker" shown on the website so I have no idea what my MB shipped with.

Does anyone know how I can tell? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place on the MB but I don't see anything.
