No you don't need a new PSU, that extra 4pin is meant to just provide additional power, but depending on the board design it might not be doing anything at all. Hey,

I want to buy an "B550 Steel Legend" for my Ryzen 3600.
I currently have an "be quiet! System Power 9 Cable Management 600W " power supply. Now I see that besides the 24 pin Power Connector the Steel Legend also has an 8+4 Power Connection, but my PSU can only have 2*4Pin Power Connectors.
