I?™m having some trouble with my first PC build. When I started it, nothing came up on the monitor (no signal).

The case fans started, the GPU lit up and it?™s fans started, but the ram sticks did not illuminate. On the motherboard the red lights next to CPU and dram where lit. I?™ve been reading all day, I took everything off except for the CPU and reinstall the 24 pin, the cable for CPU and GPU power, I reset the ram sticks, I tried just two of them, I did the cos battery thing, I went an bought a case fan and I think I put it in the right place but it didn?™t beep.

My guess is either the motherboard or the ram is bad but that?™s just a hunch.

I really am stuck. Any hints, advice, etc would be appropriated.
