It's possible the voltages are different when running the OS, and the OS is idle. I have an X570 Creator and I see different temps when in BIOS versus when the PC is running the OS.

You can grab a copy of a tool called HWInfo64 to exam different temperatures on the motherboard, disks, GPU.
