Max capacity for that board is listed as 16gb and checking multiple RAM manufacturer compatibility listings I see no 16gb modules supported for any Z97 board. Hi there!

Long time since I have been checking out newer mainboard generations and their technical details/specs.
I would like to know if it is possible to use a 32GB RAM Kit (Z97E-ITX/ac mainboard), consisting of 2 modules, or if the chipset limits a 8GB module size?
