Same situation with my piece. First I thought it is my 970 EVO+ which is hot indeed but without ssd heat spreader is hot too.

When I connect a CPU and SSD without RAM and connect to electricity, the H570 chip is very hot - you can't even put your hand on this radiator. This in turn heats the SSD as the radiator is common to them.
Can anyone tell if this is normal?
