The intel drive is also NVMe so your only option would be to<br />either use a PCIe to NVMe adapter add in card or use a SATA drive in the second<br />M.2 slot.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=21872">Boris</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 19870<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 26 Nov 2021 at 4:22pm<br /><br />Dear,<br /><br />This may be the wrong place for this kind of question, so do redirect me if needed.<br />So I bought the ASRock B450M Pro4 a while ago and insterted the Intel 660p 1TB M.2 SSD.<br /><br />This works fine, now I received a Samsung 980 1TB M.2 SSD from my brother and wanted to insert this into the second M2 slot.<br /><br />But it is not recognized, I understand that this is because of the limitations in the lanes thus closing a SATA slot.<br />But I installer the samsung in the 2nd M2 slot and it is not SATA.<br /><br />Can this setup work or ?<br /><br />Kr<br /><br />Boris]]>
