Will make my decision based on price/reviews and delay the purchase of a new computer. Thanks again!

My old Phenom II x4 955BE still runs like a champ and is actually very close to the FX 4xxx series in performance. It will save you quite a bit if you can pick one up second hand and they are leagues faster than the Sempron you are currently using. I would go for a Phenom II x4 with that board to avoid overheating issues on the power circuitry.

Trying to install one on that board will almost certainly break something.

You will have to save up a little more for a board and CPU and if you are doing that anyway then I would suggest you wait for AMD's Zen CPUs to be released.

I don't have a budget for a AM3+ mb too(yet).I am not aware of computer technologies so i just wondering if it's technical possible without breaking one of the components.If it will be to buy a new AM3+ mb,what would be your choice from the ASRock.Many thanks!<h1 ="ProdusPage-title" style="-sizing: border-; font-size: 18px; margin-right: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Roboto, Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 20px; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility; color: rgb80, 76, 76;">
