The SATA ports that start with an "A" are tied to the ASMedia controller and don't have RAID capability.  You'll need to move your second RAID pair to a set of Intel SATA ports.

I upgraded my motherboard to a  ASRock 170 Extreme7+. Booted into my existing Windows 7 installation with no problem. Had to install network and USB drivers and such but no big deal.
