I would try clearing CMOS via the battery removal method and try it again but if that does not restore functionality then I suggest you return it if you are still able. By the sound of it the NIC is dead. If you get a replacement you may also want to replace your LAN cables that connect to the machine to be on the safe side, something had to have damaged the NIC.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Xaltar - 29 Feb 2016 at 10:41pm</span>]]>

I then tried running a live linux instance (which used to work), but the networked did not work either.<br><br>When looking into Windows event manager I found an error related to the ethernet controler :<br>(translated from french)<br><br>The driver handlening system stop the process of the driver e22w10x64.inf_amd64_db08423f74b5886d\e22w10x64.inf for the device id PCI\VEN_1969&amp;DEV_E091&amp;SUBSYS_E0911849&amp;REV_10\4&amp;1B7FE41B&amp;0&amp;00E2 with status 0x0<br><br>What should I do now ? Is this a physical problem and should I send the motherboard back ?<br><br>Thanks<br>]]>
