I only does a short beep when I press F2 to enter the UEFI. &nbsp;When I save and exit total silence and black screen again.</div><div><br></div><div>Is this motherboard defective?</div><div><br></div>]]>

That is likely the problem.<br><br>There is no reason to use IDE mode today whatsoever. Set the SATA mode to AHCI and try again.<br><br>Do you hear the optical drive starting to read the disk? It seems to be working since you have an entry for it in the boot order.<br><br>If you still have problems, let us know.<br>]]>
