realtek is kinda bad at this..but umm well which drivers are you using? realtek universal drivers or from asrock?

or better question, which app you have to control your realtek audio
reltek audio manager or realtek audio console?

all the inputs for my headphone mic can barely pick up sound,have to boost everything majorly to get anything actually audible

My mic works fine on other devices, only when plugged into any of my input jacks, front and back, that it basically doesn't work. Tested 2 differrent pairs of headphones, same problem. One pair bluetooth, only when plugged in is mic an issue

searches online show this has been a problem with asrock for years but I'm not finding any real solutions

Realtek and windows audio drivers are up to date

Not sure if this an issue with my own motherboard or something in my settings/ a software/driver issue?
