Hello,

I used to have a M2E-N asus motherboard, but a couple of years ago I bought a N68C-GS FX Asrock motherboard. I found it very good.

I used to use RAID on my data drive and a single HD AHCI for boot, but I had quite an unpleasant surprise when I found out that N68C-GS cannot have mixed type of controllers. I must either use RAID on both SATA controller pairs or use 4 AHCI controllers. This is not listed in the manual.

My question is: is there any AMD ASRock or Asus mobo that can accept a single AHCI SATA controller for boot and 2 SATA controllers as RAID 1?
