I'm 99.99% sure the X4 845 Carrizo based processor will NOT function with any BIOS for this board.

I have an Asrock FM2A88-HD+ board and under the cpu support page the 845 is not listed. Also, I'm on their latest bios which is ver. 3.10 which was released way back in 2015 (5/25/2015). I' use the pc with an old trinity A6 5400k cpu and as you can see it is in need of an upgrade. Lol. The pc is in my living room and is primarly used as an HTPC/NAS for the rest of the house and the low power of the 845 would really suit my needs.

Any idea whether Asrock will release an update for this board or if the old 3.10 bios will work with it?
