When currents, inside the CPU start to flow different, it can damage the CPU.
Check the ins in the socket again, and when fitting a CPU cooler, do NOT overtighten it, as long as it is flat on the CPU surface, and cannot move around, the pressure is within Intel specs.
Besides Noctua, most coolers go way beyond the Intel specs, when it comes to the rpessure they apply onto the CPU/Socket
As a result, the CPU bends, and this in return cause contact problems.

Hello guys I am new here.
I have Asrock Z490 Taichi MB , and it suddenly back USB ports are stopped working, however DP and HDMI are fine.
Please help, what could this be? Well I noticed there were 2 pins of cpu socket been bent and I fixed them. I think after that happened , usb ports are stopped working.
