Author: zazas321
Subject: 23519
Posted: 27 Apr 2022 at 4:29am

Hello. I have purchased a Q270 Pro BTC+ motherboard as well as other components:

CPU: Pentium gold G5420
SSD:ADATA XPG SX6000 Pro PCie Gen3x4 256GB
RAM:GOODRAM DDR4 8GB CL16 IRDM X BLACK
PSU: Corsair HX1000 platinum

I have put all the components on the motherboard, connected 24 pin and 8 pin PSU connectors and turned ON the power. Absolutely no signs of life from the motherboard, the cpu fan is not spinning, no signal to my hdmi monitor and the PSU fan is not spinning.

I have tried to press the power button and reset button but nothing happened.

I have tested my PSU by shorting power good signal to ground, the psu fan started spinning right away so I assume the psu is working fine.

Could you point me in the right direction what else can I do to test it before I return it to the shop? I have multimeter if that helps. Thanks in advance.
